ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 17. Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has appointed a new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine, Trend reports via the press service of the President of Kazakhstan.
"By the decree of the President of Kazakhstan, Tolezhan Barlybaev has been appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine," the press service of the President of Kazakhstan stated.
Previously, President Tokayev relieved Darkhan Kaletayev from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine.
Tolezhan Barlybaev served as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Croatia from May 2017 to March 2022, as well as concurrently to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro from May 2018. From March 30, 2022, to November 15, 2024, Barlybaev held the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Slovak Republic.
