AzVIRT LLC, an Azerbaijani construction company, will begin reconstruction of a road in Kyrgyzstan with a total length of 67 kilometers in early 2020, a source in the company told Trend.
According to the source, at the moment, the primary stage of the road project in Kyrgyzstan on the reconstruction of the Bishkek-Osh road has been completed.
"The project cost is $41 million and is financed by the Eurasian Bank. By the end of December, asphalt laying work will begin, excavation and drainage work on selected sections of the road have been completed," the source said.
The project is expected to be implemented by 2023. If the company meets the deadlines, the project will be fully commissioned at the end of December 2022.
AzVirt company is one of the well-known contractors in Azerbaijan in the field of construction of roads, runways, airports.
Besides the design and construction of roads and big facilities, the company is also involved in production of building materials such as asphalt mixtures, fraction gravel, and activated mineral powder.
