Japanese consortium of companies Atomix and Mitsui Bussan has developed special marking paints for Uzbekistan's roads, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.

The issue was discussed during negotiations between Japanese representatives and Mayor of Tashkent Jahongir Artikhodjayev.

"The sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation. The mayor drew attention to the importance of developing high quality paints and the prospects for the production of these products in the city of Tashkent," the report said.

Last year during the testing of Japanese road marking paints in Tashkent, Japanese specialists found that it was necessary to develop special formulas of paints based on the natural and climatic conditions of Uzbekistan, the report said.

"Back in Japan, a consortium of Japanese companies developed three new formulas. The most effective one will be used to obtain a high-quality and durable product," the report says.
