AzVIRT LLC, an Azerbaijani construction company is getting ready to start working on a road project in Europe, after the suspension followed by the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, a source in the company told Trend.
“It is about the second road project in Serbia. The company is currently preparing to continue excavation work as part of a highway reconstruction project,” the source added.
"Previously, the company announced the completion of mobilization work. Now the company plans to continue excavation work as part of the first phase of the project," said the source.
“The project includes construction of roads and related road infrastructure in Serbia. The cost of the project is 207 million euro and is financed by one of the largest Chinese banks. The 2-year project involves Chinese experts as well. The previous major project implemented by the AzVIRT was completed at the beginning of 2019,” the source noted.
AzVIRT completed the previous project with partners in Serbia and intends to cooperate with partners in this country as part of a new road project.
AzVirt LLC is one of the well-known contractors in Azerbaijan in the field of construction of roads, runways, airports. Besides the design and construction of roads and big facilities, the company is also involved in production of building materials such as asphalt mixtures, fraction gravel, and activated mineral powder.
