Turkmenistan and Russia exchanged experience in construction sector, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
This was stated during a videoconference between representatives of Turkmenistan and Russia on July 15, 2020.
The parties discussed the experience in the field of construction, introduction of new technologies for the production of building materials used in housing construction, as well as issues of fire safety, sustainability, etc.
The participants considered cooperation in the construction sector, according to the agreements reached during the meeting, that was held earlier between the parties.
During the working visit of the Minister of Industry and Construction of Turkmenistan Berdimuhamedov to Saint Petersburg in February 2020, the Turkmen side got acquainted with the activities of a number of industrial enterprises and construction companies in the region, where some bilateral documents also were signed.
The companies from Saint Petersburg work in Turkmenistan in such areas as the design and construction of road transport infrastructure, fire protection structures, including developing partnerships in the field of industry, shipbuilding, technology and innovation.
