BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 6
By Tamilla Mammadova – Trend:
With the financial support of the Bank of Georgia, a mini-enterprise for wool processing has been opened in the village of Zemo Alvani, Akhmeti district, Trend reports via Georgian media.
Currently, the annual processing of the enterprise is from 60 to 70 tons.
The company also contributes to the development of sheep breeding, since local wool is used for production, and shepherds no longer need to look for a key market for wool.
The main customers of the company are specialized shops, vocational schools, private workshops and individuals.
The total investment in the project is 160,000 lari ($50,196). The bank allocated 52,000 lari ($16,313) to finance the project. The company currently employs 10 people.
