Certain facilities to be put into operation in the Iran’s Anzali port

As many as 5 port facilities will be put into operation in the Anzali port of the Gilan Province (northern Iran) tomorrow on November 17, Trend reports referring to the Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran.

According to the report, 1-grain platform, 2 oil platforms, 1 unit 50,000-tons grain warehouse, 1 warehouse will be put into operation.

“In addition, seven platforms (Platform 4 through Platform 10) will be re-commissioned after the overhaul. At the same time, the port building No. 3, crossing control equipment, laid roads and sidewalks, breakwater will be also put into operation,” the report added.

Also, the foundation of a 30,000-tons grain warehouse and a 20,000-tons edible oil storage facility will be laid and a new 1.25 million cubic meters- the pool will be cleaned, the report noted.

According to the report, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami and Chairman of the Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran Mohammad Rastad will attend the ceremony to be held on the launch of facilities.
