International brand "CROWNE PLAZA" will operate the 5-star hotel Mziuri Gardens in Georgian Adjara, Trend reports via Georgian media.
The project is implemented with British investments, the press service of the Adjara government reports.
About 300 people are employed on the construction of Mziuri Gardens and 85 million lari ($2.5 million) is invested in the project.
"Despite the pandemic, the construction sector actively continues to implement projects in Batumi. It is especially important for a rapid economic recovery for both: tourism and construction sector. That means maintaining and creating jobs," said Tornike Rizhvadze, chairman of Adjara Government.
The company Mziuri Resorts is also implementing a project to develop the historically famous balneological resort in Makhinjauri. The complex includes a 60-room hotel and a health center.
