The newly elected Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran asked for mobility and change in housing and transportation sectors, Trend reports citing IRNA.

“Given the government's budget deficit, we must look for new ways to raise resources and provide the necessary attractions for private sector investors,” Rostam Ghasemi said at the meeting of the Council of Deputies.

Referring to the order of the President for housing prosperity, Ghasemi says that the plan to leap in housing production, which has also been approved by the parliament, will accelerate the implementation of the housing production movement in the country.

“The Members of the Parliament have announced their readiness to pass bills to facilitate the growth of housing construction,” he noted.

The Minister of Roads and Urban Development emphasized removing the existing obstacles to housing production, part of which is the increase in the price of construction materials.
