Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend A.Badalova / The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is planning to allocate to Azerbaijani - German Fund (AGF) a $700,000 grant in 2008, within the common frame financial services for micro and small entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan, Chikako Kuno, the head of the program, said.
"Grant will be accompanied by credit lines. The amount of each credit line will depend on the bank's strategy," he said.
According to Kuno, the two banks are in talks for rendering technical assistance within the AMBF - MSE program.
On 31 October the EBRD announced about completion of cooperation with tree banks - Bank of Baku, Bank Respublika and UniBank under AMBF - MSE.
