Azerbaijan, Baku / / Trend / The one window principle to establish one business registration body will be introduced in Azerbaijan from 1 January 2008. Within the framework of the new system the term of business registration reduced from 53 to 6 days and the number of procedures from 15 to 5.
The entrepreneur should submit only three or four documents, including through the electron system. The entrepreneurs must come to the Tax Ministry and submit certification in order to get juridical documents.
The introduction of the one window principle will positively affect on further growth of business of Azerbaijan. In 2008 the principle may positively affect on estimation of Azerbaijan on Doing Business.
The number of small enterprises will increase by 20% in 2010 compared to 2007. The introduced system will affect on economy and social processes, as well as reduce unemployment (7.7%). Presently, the number of unemployed reaches 4mln.
Today there are 78,000 operating enterprises in Azerbaijan. About 4,000 enterprises have been registered since the beginning of the year. A 1/3 of juridical persons are engaged in retail and wholesale, as well as repair of automobiles and technical equipments.
