Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend I.Khalilova / Azerbaijan Export and Investment Foundation (AZPROMO) intends to expand market operations with Kazakhstan in upcoming several months. One or two companies in a week will be sent to this country, said AZPROMO President, Emil Mejidov.
"We have the list of 15 companies which take an interest in Kazakhstan's market and each of them has a business plan. Most of them have already visited Kazakhstan and we need to find local partners for them," Mejidov said. These companies have been specialized in the spheres of construction, engineering, foodstuffs.
By the end of the year, the memorandum signed in October between Azerbaijani 'Azneftkimyamash' JSC and Kazakh 'Kazpetromash' TOO, 'Kazneftgazmash' JSC and 'Sewon - Vertex Heavy Industry', is expected to transform into a contract on establishment of a joint oil and gas equipment.
Due to the memorandum, the Azerbaijani and Kazakh companies will jointly determine the future projects and establish joint ventures with regards to the construction services, diving job.
The information and organization support to the Azerbaijani companies regarding Kazakhstan's market will be provided through AZPROMO's representation in Aktau opened at the beginning of 2007.
