( Worldcarfans ) - At the upcoming Bologna Motor Show in Italy, Porsche will be unveiling their latest limited edition, the Porsche Boxster RS 60 Spyder. The 2008 Boxster RS 60 throws back to the 1960 12 Hours of Sebring, Florida USA winning Porsche Type 718 RS Spyder and will be appropriately limited to 1960 units.
The new Boxster RS 60 Spyder is based on the Porsche Boxster S and has been enhanced with a unique front spoiler, 19 inch Porsche SportDesign alloy wheels, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system, a sports exhaust system pushing the horsepower output to 303 hp and distinctive GT Silver Metallic paintwork with Carrera Red details.
Each unit will feature a numbered silver plaque on the glovebox. The mid-engined Porsche Boxster RS 60 Spyder has a base price of Euro 53,000.
