Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend U.Ismayilova / Azerbaijan does not have any problem with unemployment, but it still has a problem with the quality of manpower, Fizuli Alakbarov, the Azerbaijani Minister for Labor and Social Security, said at a labor fair in Baku on 6 December.
"Labor fairs are regularly organized in the country to offer available jobs, whereas some enterprises are unable to have the vacancies filled due to the absence of specialized personnel," he minister said.
Fifty-seven fairs are being held in Baku on 6 December and have offered over 7,000 jobs. The minister said that even if 2,000 people are provided with jobs at fairs, it can be estimated as a great achievement. As a result of approximately 56 fairs, 6,000 people have been provided with jobs.
"The Government has taken measures to ensure the quality of manpower and the State program on reforms is amongst them," the minister said.
