Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend U.Ismayilova /The experts of the International Monetary Fund (IFC) will visit Azerbaijan on 21 January to assess the common methodology for the calculation of the consumer prices, Arif Veliyev, the head of the Azerbaijan State Statistics Committee said on 14 December.
The visit has been numerously postponed. The IFC will dispatch its expert, Ann Shelly Winston, for the assessment of the relevance to the international experience. The growth pace of inflation totals 16.4% as on 1 December 2007, Veliyev said.
