Azerbaijan, Baku, 10 January / Trend corr. U.Ismaylova / The State Service on Control over the Consumer Market at the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry announced the results of the monitoring which was held regarding a variety of toys, the Ministry reports.
According to the Ministry, the monitoring was held to check the quality and production origin of the merchandise. Around 290 toys of unknown origin were discovered as a result of a check made in 73 shops in Baku City. All the toys were seized and the vendors fined.
The monitoring has been held from 17 December 2007 to 7 January 2008.
