Azerbaijan, Baku, 12 January/ Trend / The revenues of the Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan in 2007 totaled to AZN 967mln, Salim Muslimov, the head of the Fund, said during the conference of the Cabinet of Ministers, dedicated to the socio-economic development of the state in 2007 and plans for 2008.
According to Muslimov, the revenue forecast on payments of social insurance of non-budget organizations made up 104% and on budget organizations - 89%. The remittances from payments of the social insurance amount to AZN 407mln in 2007.
Muslimov said that the Fund expenditures total to AZN 1bln in 2007, and 95% of which fell on population payments, which is by 80% or AZN 422mln more as compared to 2006.
The number of pensioners made up 1,247mln of people in 2007, which is by 22,000 or 1.8% more as compared to the beginning of the year.
