Azerbaijan, Baku, 1 February/ corr. Trend S.Babayeva/ All medical centres of Azerbaijan financed by the public budget will provide free service to the public from 1 February. The decree to cancel all the paid medical services in the state- owned medical institutions was issued by Ogtay Shiraliyev, the minister of public health of Azerbaijan in early January.
"As there were paid services in several state-owned clinics, we deemed it expedient to officially cancel them all," the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan said.
Some 1,500 out-patient clinics and about 700 hospitals operate in Azerbaijan currently at the Ministry of Public Health of Azerbaijan financed by the public budget.
