BBVB, MOLDSE Define Prospects for Development of Financial Markets in Azerbaijan, Moldova

Azerbaijan, Baku, 1 March / Trend corr I. Khalilova/ The Baku Inter-bank Currency Exchange (BBVB) agreed on cooperation and partnership with the Moldova Stock Exchange (MOLDSE), BBVB reported on 29 February.

The BBVB Manager Farhad Amirbeyov and the President of MOLDSE Corneliu Dodu signed an agreement on mutual cooperation in Kishinev on 28 February. The document envisages close cooperation between the Exchanges aimed at development of the financial markets in Azerbaijan and Moldova. The sides intend to actively exchange the experience in the field of management of risks in exchange operations and to implement joint arrangements on interaction with international financial organizations. A range of the units in the agreement envisage regular information exchange about development of the both countries' financial markets, as well as monitoring and analyzing the state of different segments in the market of financial service, including the exchange of information about the key issuers and investors.

As a result of the negotiations in Kishinev, the heads of the Exchanges agreed to exchange experience in the field of trade, calculation and informational systems. BBVB and MOLDSE's further plans include organization of trainings, probations and other bilateral educational programs to improve the employees' qualification.
