Azerbaijan, Baku, 3 March / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / Abulfaz Abdullazadeh, the Director of the Analytical Drug Expertise of the Health Ministry of Azerbaijan, stated that drug imports to the country would not lead to a drug deficit.
"Centre specialists carried out monitoring on the pharmacological market and no deficit was found," he said.
From 1 March drug imports into Azerbaijan will be implemented under registration conditions. Customs costs for incoming drugs are according to a decision made by the Tariff Council depending on the drug.
Abdullazadeh said that 3,202 types of drug were now registered in the country.
