( dpa ) - Some 1,200 Land Rover Freelanders in Germany are being recalled for repairs to the panoramic roof which could fly off under certain conditions, Germany's auto-motor-sport magazine reports.
A company spokesman confirmed the recall action which applies to models sold in Germany between November 2006 and January 2008, the magazine quotes a company spokeswoman as saying.
Freelander owners have been informed in writing that under certain wind conditions the panoramic roof could loosen itself from the bodywork. There was also the possibility of a blockage or the roof being lifted to one side, according to the magazine.
