Azerbaijan, Baku, 18 April / TrendCapita / In first quarter of 2008, Azerbaijani stock exchanges have held 104 auctions resulting in the realization of currency reserves, securities, and real estate worth AZN2.648.1.000.
According to State Statistics Committee, the total volume of the turnover rose by 3.3 times as compared to the same period of 2007.
Baku Inter-Bank Currency Exchange and Baku Stock Exchange had a rise in volume of sale by 2.1% and 3.9% respectively.
