Azerbaijan, Baku, 20 May / Trend / In January to March the number of pensioners in Azerbaijan reached 1.25mln which makes up 15% of Azerbaijani population, the State Statistics Committee stated.
The average amount of pension totals AZN 76.41, an increase of 24% from 2007, which makes up 33% of the average monthly salary.
The targeted social aid in January to March was provided to 395,000 people. The aid per capita totals AZN 17.81.
