Khalilova/ "Azerbaijan's small-scale and middle-scale companies will be able to purchase European equipment at half price in Baku," Emil Majidov, President of Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), said. They will get this opportunity at the international exhibition RE-INVEST Caspian (second hand equipment for Caspian and Caucasus regions) taking place in Baku on 10-11 June.
"Two years ago, Germany initiated holding the exhibition in Azerbaijan, given great demand of Azerbaijani companies to purchase Western equipment," Majidov said. "That is a commercial interest of Germany and we support this initiative as our small-scale and middle-scale businessmen are constantly looking for western products. Azerbaijani businessmen may buy needed equipments without leaving the country. Small deals are already being concluded today," he said.
The exhibition is supported by AZPROMO and German GTZ (German Technical Assistance) and German consulting company Corporate Solution. It exhibits second-hand equipment from 10 countries- intended for food, woodworking, furniture, metal processing, textile and light industries.
Exhibition envisages establishment of direct relations between region's entrepreneurs and specialized sellers of second-hand equipment. German delegation including about 50 participants is headed by the head of Corporate Solution Consulting Thomas Price.
