Turkish Airlines on Sunday cancelled all flights to Tbilisi, capital of neighbouring Georgia, owing to the hostilities in the region between Georgian and Russian forces, Turkish media reported citing airline officials, the dpa reported.

The decision was specifically made following a Russian attack on a building close to Tbilisi airport, according to reports.

The carrier would review the situation during the coming week, officials said.
