Azerbaijan, Baku, 16 September / Trend corr. I.Khalilova /"The International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) is to open its first daughter bank in Doha, Qatar," Cahangir Hajiyev, Chairman of the Board of IBA, said on 16 September.
"We hold talks, which may result in opening of the representative or even the daughter bank," said Hajiyev.
"For this purpose the Deputy Chairman of the Board of IBA, Rovshan Karimov, is being on his visit to Qatar. Karimov holds meetings with the Central Bank chairman," said Hajiyev.
At present, IBA has daughter banks in Moscow and Georgia, as well as representatives in New-York and London.
