Azerbaijan, Baku, 6 October / Trend corr. S.Babayeva /In Jan-Aug 2008, the industry production growth in the Nakhichivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) of Azerbaijan exceeded AZN 105mln. The index is more by 15% compared to 2007.
Totally 77.9% made up production manufacturing and 20% - service.
The specific gravity of extractive industry made up 0.3% of the total production rate, developing - 82.4%, electric energy and water sector -17.3%.
Some AZN 86mln production was manufactured at the expense of non-state sector and AZN 18mln - state sector within eight months.
On 6 October, the official currency rate is 0.8101 AZN/USD.
