Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 October / corr Trend U.Ismaylova / From January to September 2008 A-GROUP Azerbaijani insurance company collected premiums in the amount of AZN 5.1mln, or high by 16% as compared to same period of last year, the company told.
Main part of company's income fall on voluntary medical insurance, which brought AZN 4.1mln. Premiums on this type of insurance increased by AZN 475, 000.
Positive results were also achieved in the sphere of insurance of automobiles, A-GROUP said. AZN 686, 000 was collected from complex auto insurance in January to September, portraying 21% increase as compared to corresponding period of 2007.
A-GROUP made payments in the amount of AZN 2.9mln over nine months.
The A-GROUP, which has been functioning since 1995 in Azerbaijani insurance market, renders services on 19 kinds of insurance services, two of which are compulsory. Authorized capital stock of company makes up AZN 1.55mln.
