Azerbaijan, Baku, 15 October / corr. Trend U.Ismaylova / "Azerbaijan Insurance Association (AIA) will discuss their development plan for 2008-2009 in a meeting of the Supervision Board, which to be held next week," Jamil Malikov, CEO of Association, and chairman of MBASK insurance company, said.
"The plan targets conducting propaganda of the Association's activities," Malikov said. Agitation work will be carried out, mainly, through the mass media, CEO of AIA, said.
"The development plan of the Association also includes regular contact of representatives of the Association with insurance companies to reveal problems and their collective solution," Malikov said.
AIA uniting country's 30 insurance companies, was established in December 2006. The AIA Supervision Board includes MBASK, Standard Insurance, International Insurance Company, Azersigorta, and Ateshgah. Although Azer-Asia and Gorgud Sigorta stopped operation as Ministry of Finance cancelled their licenses, they are still members of the Association.
