Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 25/ Trend , U. Ismayilova/ The State Committee on Land and Cartography plans to elaborate a single system of auctions for the sale of lands of the local governmental agencies for the regional offices of the Committee, Garib Mammadov, chief of the Committee, said.
"This is a very difficult work and great responsibility. The Committee needs to take a number of additional measures due to responsibilities we have undertaken," Mammadov said.
The major goal of a single system is to eliminate any possible chaos and to create system under which auctions in every local and regional offices of the Committee will be held, he said.
According to the presidential decree dated Dec. 10, the lands of the local governmental agencies will be sold through auctions. Earlier lands were sold by municipalities.
The contract with the legal entity and physical persons winning the auction will be signed in 20 days in accordance with the Civil and Land Codes.
