Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 29/ Trend , S. Babayeva/ In 2008, Azerbaijan worked out 33 draft agreements in the field of agriculture, veterinary science, quarantine and protection of plants with 17 countries, Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan said.
"The draft agreements are ready and have been submitted to respective state-owned agencies through the Foreign Ministry and they can be signed after they are coordinated by both parties," a source in the Ministry of Agriculture said.
A source in the Ministry did not reveal date of signing of documents.
Azerbaijan intends to sign agreement with Italy, Poland, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Korea, Tunis, Senegal, Mali, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, etc.
Senior officials of Azerbaijani Ministry of Agriculture can visit Israel and Austria in 2009, a source said.
