The price for oil produced by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) continued to gain at the end of last week, rising to 40.91 dollars, the cartel announced Monday.
One barrel (159 litres) of OPEC-produced crude was up 0.60 dollars Friday, compared with the previous day.
The Vienna-based organization calculates an average price of 12 brands produced by its members, reported dpa.
