Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 13 / Trend , U.Ismayilova/
As part of a joint project with the World Bank Real Estate Registrar, the Azerbaijani Real Estate State Registrar Service will conduct an inventory of illegally constructed buildings in Baku, Azerbaijani Real Estate State Registrar Service Administration head Gulhuseyn Kazimov said.
"Illegally constructed buildings will neither be included in the registrar nor razed," Kazimov said.
The service recently received complaints from the public that individuals presenting themselves as municipal authority employees are demanding money for property evaluation services, he said.
Kazimov said the inventory only includes recording illegally constructed buildings.
The inventory will be conducted as part of a joint project with the WB.
The Azerbaijani government and WB signed an agreement to introduce a unified real estate registrar in July 2007.
