In January, investments in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) of Azerbaijan increased 25.1 percent and hits 12 million manat, NAR Baku office said.
Roughly 11.4 million manat spent for construction sector, which is by 29.4 percent more compared to 2008. Some 94.5 percent of investment accounts for the construction sector.
Construction companies carried out construction work in the amount of 9.9 million manat. Out of which 6.4 million manat account for new constructed buildings, 2.8 million manat for repair, 583,400 manat for corrective maintenance and 74,200 for other construction purposes.
