In February, production prices for the agricultural products in Azerbaijan dropped by 0.7 percent compared to the previous month, State Statistics Committee said.
In January-February, prices increased by 11 percent compared to the same period in 2008.
In February, the production price for plant growing and melon growing increased by 0.2 percent compared to January. Prices for fruits and hazelnut fell by 0.5 percent, the specialized gardening products - by 0.6 percent, but grains increased by 0.8 percent.
Some 2.3 percent decrease was observed in the livestock production compared to January. Prices for horned cattle dropped by 2.6 percent and small horned - increased by 1.4 percent.
Prices for the forestry production and fishery remained unchanged.
