Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad urged to hold economic reforms in the country and pay subsidies to citizens. A total amount of subsidies may be $6 billion.
"We have a satisfactory situation. If we grant subsidies to 50 million people, we can pay $120 to each of them per month," Ahmedinejad said lively via the Iranian television (IRINN) on April 8.
The Iranian president said the expected income of oil export will be $6 billion in line with the market prices in 2009.
"The subsidy project is the most essential amongst the developed economic programs in Iran," Ahmedinejad said during his speech in Isfahan.
