Turkmenistan's financial policy and funds available to ensure uninterrupted work of all exchange places enable to maintain stability of the national manat with regard foreign currency, according to an official statement by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan (CBT).
"Comprehensive reforms carried out in the country's economy at President Gurbangulu Berdimuhmamedov's initiative enable to consolidate financial stability and to increase investment activity of the country, аs well as improve welfare of the nation.
According to the CBT, Turkmenistan continues its integration into world financial and economic system. The foreign trade turnover of Turkmenistan, which is to comprise $17.6 billion in 2008, foreign trade balance ended in $6.2 billion in black, as well as growth of investment was 2.1 times in January to February 2009 as compared to same period of 2008. It all testifies for efficiency of economic reforms held in in the country.
