Azerbaijan plans to form the Intellectual Property Center, Copyright Protection Agency Head Kamran Imanov said at the workshop on the International Copyright Day on April 22.
"At present the agency is conducting serious work to form the center," Imanov said.
Imanov said the center will aim to analyze goods on the market to protect the right to intellectual property which will enable to avoid sale without holograms.
The agency is preparing to form the Center on digital right management in Internet at the moment.
"At present level of piracy in the Internet is too high," Imanov said. "In this respect, the agency is developing special proposals to eliminate this fact on the market."
It is necessary to regulate the digital right in Internet which envisages spreading works in digital format, but this does not exist in Azerbaijan at the moment, the agency head said.
