Global financial and economic crisis will not affect the agricultural industry in Azerbaijan, Agriculture Minister Ismet Abasov said.
"Preventive measures will remove any affection of the crisis," the Minister said.
A series of arrangements have been implemented within the framework of the 2004-2008 State Social and Economic Development of Regions Program. Some of the arrangements need to be continued.
"Arrangements will be implemented within the second State Program 2009-2013," the Minister said.
The program envisages continuation of arrangements to improve infrastructural maintenance, further development of business climate, attraction of investments to the economy and etc.
To develop the entrepreneurship it is planning to enhance the cooperation among small, medium and big business companies, create trade outputs, prevent ungrounded inference into activity of a company, develop of export by private companies and enhance control over quality and safety of food.
