Union of Azerbaijani-Turkish businessmen prepared proposals on development of the country's free competition for the Azerbaijani government, the union expert Kenan Aslanli said at the presentation of the program "Current situation with free competition in Azerbaijan and its impact on economy of the Republic" on May 13.
"Main goal of these researches was revelation of current situation in free competition in the country, as well as preparation of proposals on its further improvement and elimination of shortages," Aslanli said.
Main proposals of Union of Azerbaijani-Turkish businessmen were proposals on reformation of the state antimonopoly service in an independent service, as well as putting responsibilities for control and investigation. It would be much more reasonable to control activity of medium and big entrepreneurs. Presently, this service is under the ministry of economic development, he said.
The project of code "Competition" envisages solving of many existing problems despite the code will cover all legislative basis in free competition. We consider that some problems will remain uncovered," Aslanli said.
Union of Azerbaijani-Turkish businessmen will submit proposals in this sphere to the Azerbaijani government, as well as business-circles to discuss improvement in future, he said.
