Within military cooperation between Georgia and France, the French navy frigate Montcalm will make a friendly visit to the Batumi Sea Port from 26 to 29 June, the press service of the Embassy of France in Georgia reported.
Frigate "Montcalm has been involved in patrolling the Black Sea since 2008.
The ceremony of meeting frigate will be attended by the ambassador of France to Georgia Eric Fournier, the government official and representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, as well as the public.
A football match between the members of the crew of the frigate and members of marine protection department of Georgia is scheduled for June 26. The rugby match between the crew and a team of Batumi on the rugby will be held on June 28.
