Association of Risk Managers of Azerbaijan will train risk managers energy sector as well in addition to financial sector, founder and head of association Rufat Mahmud said.
"The GARP (Global Association of risk Professionals) experience will be used and the association will train risk managers for energy sector as well," Mahmud said.
He said the association will expand certification coverage area as soon as certification of bank, leasing and insurance managers is completed.
Association of Risk Managers of Azerbaijan was granted registration in May 2009. The establishment of association will help reduce risks in financial sector. The Association has already begun to cooperate with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Central Bank and GARP.
We have begun testing employees of the bank and analysis is underway into results for the subsequent certification.
