Azerbaijan, Baku, June 24 / Trend , I. Khalilova/

The world financial and economic crisis has not affected activities of Zygon Caspian Consulting (ZCC), company's Director General Natik Agazade said.

"The crisis also has positive side. There are very strong companies with a very clear strategy in the market," he said. "Today there are four consulting companies in the Azerbaijan market while there were about 40 two years ago."

He said expanding the range of Zygon services helped pass accreditation in business administration last year. "Thus, our company was first to be registered with the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents for introduction of ISO standards."

"Range of our services has expanded since then and we have implemented 54 projects to introduce six international standards," Agazade said.

The company plans to introduce the seventh standard on information security in 2011. To do this, four employees were sent abroad in March for training to study this standard and they are accredited in Britain Standard Institute.

"This year we have a fairly decent portfolio and seven contracts have already been signed with Absheron Engineering, Azeri-iodine, Global Construction and others for the first five months," he said. "All of them are new Azerbaijani private companies engaged in industry, production, and it is remarkable that they are potential exporters of Azerbaijan."
