Since the beginning of the implementation of the "single window" principle in Azerbaijan in January 2008, the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan realized primary state registration of 6,070 commercial entities, and 14,806 business entities made changes to the data on their registration, the report by the Ministry of Taxes says.
Prior to the introduction of registration of taxpayers on a "single window" in the country in 2007, were registered 3,072 commercial legal entities, and in 2008 - more than 982, i.e. 4,054 commercial legal entities.
Also in July this year the Ministry began to provide services of public notary, which further facilitated the process of registering businesses. Now, at the time of registration of entrepreneurs in Baku, as well as changes to their registration data, applications and documents can be confirmed at the ministry in notary regime.
After the establishment of the new system, the period of registration of new enterprises decreased by 20 times up to three days, and the number of documents several times. The number of procedures decreased from 15 to five.
