In Azerbaijan, a living wage per capita was 119 manats in July, said the NGO Center for Economic Research. Indicators have been identified on the basis of regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers.
It is estimated that the cost of the minimum consumer basket for the working population was 131.83 manats, for pensioners - 100.63 manats and for children under 15 years - 124.54 manats.
Last month, the minimum cost of services for working-age population was 24.88 manats, for pensioners - 22.75 manats and for children under age 15 - 16.37 manats. The cost of food products amounted to 78.85 manats, for pensioners - 62.02 manats for children under age 15 - 83.15 manats.
Expenditure on non-food items for the working population was at 28.1 manats, pensioners - manats 15.85, children under age 15 - 25.02 manats.
According to the Law on "Living wage in Azerbaijan", the level of living wage per capita in the country in 2009 was 84 manat, including the working population - 92 manats, for pensioners - 65 manats, for children - 69 manats.
On Aug. 19, the official exchange rate is 0.804 manat to $1.
