On Aug.31, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree to approve a new composition and status of the State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents, AzerTaj state news agency reported.
Under the presidential decree, the administrative staff of the Committee is comprised of 152 employees and departments of the state committee number 323.
The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers was tasked to develop and submit to the Azerbaijani President the proposals on adjusting the existing legislative acts in conformity with this decree, as well as resolve other issues arising from this decree.
The decree came into force on Aug.31.
