Turkmen President, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the French Bouygues company a number of specific comments and suggestions, "and demanded to ensure the high quality of their works, the national television channel Altyn Asyr reported on Sept. 1.

Berdimuhamedov received the President of the company, Martin Bouygues. They talked about the construction of Oguzkent luxury five star hotel worth €270 million, which is being built along one of the main highways of Ashgabat. The hotel, which includes over 300 apartments - including 12 presidential apartments, a congress hall and a helipad, should be commissioned in December 2009.

"This ultra-modern, unique hotel complex, designed for the reception of high-rank guests, and major international forums, to organically combine the most advanced achievements of modern architecture, and the best traditions of the national architecture," said the Turkmen leader.

Bouygues assured that the company will make "every effort to ensure that its activities meet the highest requirements in Turkmenistan as to the quality of construction works, and to meet deadlines for their implementation."
