The Azerbaijani State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents approved new standards of AZS 333-2009 and AZS 334-2009. Entrepreneurs must followed them while packaging of food, the State Committee said.
AZS 333-2009 is used in consumer packaging (bottles, boxes, glasses), made of polymer materials and used for packaging of food.
AZS 334-2009 is used to preform polyethylene bottles used for soft drinks, mineral water, juices, milk and dairy products, vegetable oils and packaging of other food.
