Four Azerbaijani companies will participate in the competition to be held by the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification in 2009, the Azerbaijani State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents reported.
The competition will be held on the basis of the achievements in the production of goods and services. With this respect, the experts from Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan visited Baku and held several meetings in the state committee. The Azerbaijani experts have already visited the companies in these countries and sent their proposals to the Council.
The jury will announce the final decision at a meeting of the intergovernmental council by late 2009.
