Azerbaijan to continue consultations with WB to establish new architecture of trading system of securities market

In October State Committee for Securities (SCS) of Azerbaijan and the World Bank (WB) intend to continue negotiations on the project of establishing a new architecture of the trading system of the Azerbaijani stock market, said Chairman of SCS Rufat Aslanli on Sept. 29.
"Discussions will be held during WB mission's visit to Baku in early October," said Aslanli.
According to him, the State Committee has already presented its vision of the project, and as a results of the previous mission, preliminary documentation of the project has been prepared.
As a result of the project, such e-commerce system will be established, which would be comparable to the current payment system, that is, it will be possible to trade securities on the BSE in on-line regime, and also create a possibility to transfer the right on securities in on-line regime.
